Barry Tech offers a comprehensive array of Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) including guidance, counseling, career development and psychological services with school counselors and a school psychologist.  PPS functions as an extension of the home school guidance and counseling department.  In addition, the PPS staff
  • introduces new students to programs, resources and services
  • assists students with appropriate course selection
  • provides individual, group, vocational and career counseling
  • facilitates a career plan for each student
  • refers students to community service programs and organizations
  • coordinates parent-teacher-student conferences
  • works closely with home school counselors and psychologists
  • assists with post-secondary educational planning and employment planning
