![]() ![]() ![]() A Visit from the Nassau County Police Commissioner
On May 12, 2010, Nassau County Police Commissioner Lawrence W. Mulvey visited Mr. Golod and Ms. Williams Police Science & Criminal Justice classes. The Commissioner discussed having a BOCES Youth Police Academy where students will work directly with the Nassau County Police Academy Instructors.
Commissioner Mulvey discussed the requirements to become a Nassau County Police Officer. His informative lecture covered the entrance exam, physical fitness, background investigation, polygraph, and psychological exam which must be passed before entering the Police Academy.
