Barry Tech student cuts for a good cause --Locks of Love

Health Skills student, Karen Araujo, Mineola School District, and Vivian Johnston, who works in the Accounts Payable Department, donated their hair to “Locks of Love, who makes wigs for cancer patients in need. Read More...

 Ms. Johnston’s hair was cut by Cosmetology student, Jessica Becker.  Jessica describes the experience as, “An honor and an exciting opportunity to be involved with.”  Not only is an individual being able to donate their hair to make a wig, but they also get a complementary haircut and style from the Cosmetology students at Barry Tech.
