Applied Math
Location: Barry Tech Teacher: Code: APMA This is a basic course with math topics related to career education including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry skills; English/metric measurement; probability and statistics; graphing techniques and scientific calculator. Taught by certified math teachers, this course fulfills the 3rd credit of math for students not taking a 2nd/3rd math Regents exam, or prepares those students who will be taking the RCT. Please indicate if, and when the student will be taking the RCT on the back of the application. Students earn 3 credits for their Career and Technical Education course and 1 credit for math.
